Connecticut Photo Album
The first stop was a visit with Mom at The Conv. Hospital. She's 93 and recovering from a hip replacement. |
Sister Patty hams it up with Mom. |
Our site was another free one at Mom's house. Camping is cheap if you have a lot of family to visit. |
And then we had a good old fashioned backyard picnic. Skip & Andy joined us. |
And this is the 2nd main reason we came to CT. Meet Nathanial, 3 1/2 months and grandson #1. |
They even let me hold him if I promised not to break him. |
 And Mykey fed him. |
Then she fed him some more. The boy will be as big as Grandpa in no time if she keeps this up. |
That's Tracy the mother. I guess she doesn't know Mykey has been feeding him all day. |
Now doesn't he look "all full up." |
Just hanging around on the deck. |
A view from the deck looking toward the river. Laundry & all. |
Lucky Herb, he gets all the girls. |
Lucky Char, she gets all the guys. |
Mykey, me, Char & Herb |
And here we are again.Do we look like we did in '58? |
Next stop, Syd & Kathleen's in Guilford. Barely fit on that campsite. |
Happy Hour on the patio. Thanks to the timed shutter on the Casio, I got in it, too. |
Spent a little time on the beach in front of their house. That's Long Island Sound in the background. |
And no album would be complete without a picture of Syd's tree. Sure makes the motorhome look small. |
Syd was the most gracious host. Not only because he waited on us, but . . . |
. . . he also served my favorite, Butter & Sugar Corn. (He also did a great swordfish on the grill.) |
Here we are, 1400 miles from home, and going to lunch with are good friends from back home, Bud & Fran Stringer. |
And this is where the picture of my son Bob would go if I had one. (A picture, I have the son.) I can't believe all those I took and I can't find one of him. Guess I'll have to go back up to CT. But you will get to see him when I get the llama farm pictures up.
